SIMPLICITY: (: the state of being simple, uncomplicated, or uncompounded)
An elopement should be just that… Simple! After 4,500+ ceremonies (both in front of and behind the lens) Unkle Papa understands and knows that there’s a BIG difference between an “Elopement” and a “Wedding”. Unkle Papa believes this is one of the simple reasons that sets them apart and is proud to be a San Diego ELOPEMENT photographer!

AFFORDABILITY: (: able to be afforded : having a cost that is not too high )
Most times couples choose to elope for budgetary reasons while others choose to Runaway To San Diego to avoid family issues, formal wedding planning pressures or as mentioned above; simplicity! Unkle Papa believes in giving the same attention to detail in capturing their simple elopement ceremony as a bigger more complex wedding. The end product should not be based on how much money the couple is spending. Rest assured Unkle Papa is not a newbie, low budget, take some quick pics found on Craigslist photographer… Unkle Papa is proud to use professional gear, editing software and gives the same attention to detail in the post production processing of each image rather than just shooting in Jpeg format and doing a quick batch.

ALOHA: (: many meanings in addition to Hello or Goodbye)
As an “adopted by Maui” boy, I learned that Aloha is so much more than Hello or Goodbye… If you were to ask anyone living in Hawaii, “What does Aloha mean to you?” you may receive a variety of answers. Aloha is an essence of being: love, peace, compassion, and a mutual understanding of respect. Aloha means living in harmony with the people and land around you with mercy, sympathy, grace, and kindness. When greeting another person with aloha, there is mutual regard and affection.
